  1. 01

    Reproduce the bug

Start with the flow that fails in the running app. Keep the screen and available runtime evidence together.

  2. 02

    Investigate with your agent

Give the agent the captured session. It can connect the visible symptom to UI state, logs, requests and your code.

  3. 03

    Make the fix

Review the change to app code or automation, then run the affected flow again.

  4. 04

    Review the replay

See the result for yourself. Scrub the captured run and check the evidence behind the agent's conclusion.

Try it in your project

Connect once. Keep checking your changes.

Use an agent with local execution.

Open your app repository in Codex, or a ChatGPT environment that can run commands on your development machine. Ansight's CLI and resident host connect the agent to your app.

A browser-only chat cannot reach your local simulator by itself. Installing a plugin in a remote environment does not establish that connection.

Compare SDK and external capture
  1. 01

    Install the free CLI

Choose the installer for your development machine. The setup guide covers the host and platform tools.

  2. 02

    Connect your development app

Paste this into your agent with the app repository open:

Use https://www.ansight.ai/skills/ansight-install.md to set up Ansight in this app's development build. Verify the local connection and capture a session I can replay.

The SDK adds recorded touches, instrumented network activity and framework details. You can also start with external capture on a supported device.

  3. 03

Ask for a check you can replay

Give the agent a specific flow and expected result. Review the captured session when it finishes.

Give your agent a concrete next step.

Find the cause

Use Ansight to reproduce this bug in my connected mobile app. Inspect the screenshots, UI tree and available logs or network evidence. Explain what the evidence supports before changing code.

Check the change

Use Ansight to repeat the flow affected by my latest code change. Check the expected UI and available app state, capture the result, and report any checks you could not complete.

Show the run

Open the Ansight replay for the session you just captured. Show where the flow begins, what happened after the action, and the evidence for the final result.

Your mobile stack

The app you already build.

Run on supported simulators, emulators or physical devices. Available evidence and controls depend on your platform, capture mode and enabled SDK features.
